Alicia Wong Lingling, a 20-year-old from Klang, Selangor, officially debuts as the leader and lead vocalist of the new K-pop girl group KIIRAS. Their debut single, “Kill Ma Bo$$,” released on May 29, 2025, has already garnered attention for its unique blend of country, R&B, and hip-hop elements, coupled with a rebellious “cowgirl” concept.
Who Is Lingling?
Lingling’s journey to stardom began as a trainee under YG Entertainment and later WakeOne, where she showcased her skills in the survival show I-LAND 2 in 2024. Although she didn’t make the final lineup, her talent and determination propelled her to LeanBranding, where she earned the title of the first member and leader of KIIRAS in April 2025.
Fluent in Chinese, English, Korean, and Bahasa Malaysia, Lingling not only embodies the global appeal of K-pop’s fifth generation, but also showcases an impressive versatility.
